Got the Beet Salade which was unique and tasty. Friends meals looked great. Prices are up there (my salad was 18) but the quality of the ingredients was there. Server was very well attentive and polite, great all around. Music wasn't loud (for an older gentleman) and the wine selection was extensive. Definitely recommend this place if you are celebrating or want a better dinner experience

I can honestly say this is the best meal I have had in Ontario. Straight forward, honest, and all things amazing. The food speaks for itself in that you almost feel guilty enjoying these dishes without wearing a tuxedo. The staff is extremely welcoming and the unassuming chef really just wants you to enjoy the meal. Hands down the best place for a special occasion or an office function, they really do fire on all cylinders. Thank you, Bolete. You will see us very soon!

The food was absolutely incredible. One of my new favorite restaurants and will definitely visit again! Everything was delicious but my favorites were the duck and seared octopus.

A lovely restaurant with accessible washroom and open kitchen. Duck breast was cooked medium rare and perfectly seasoned with parsnip puree. But the sauce was a tad too salty. The daily special was the hand rolled cavatelli with 5 sea scallops in truffle mushroom sauce, and it was super delicious. The scallops were fresh and seasoned well. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate hazelnut cremeux with a tuile, which was perfect with coffee.

We went to Bolete for a special occasion dinner and the service and food did not disappoint. The server was very personable and did her best job to make sure that everything was superb. We enjoyed the warm olives and hummus platter to start our meal. Then had the chicken supreme and lobster pasta. The portions were perfect - enough that you were able to enjoy the dish, without feeling stuffed or that you had over indulged. If you are there early enough they did have some drink and appetizers specials that were for before 6 pm.

This place is always a surprise, menu changes often. The food and cocktails blow you away. Just delicious. Service is always top tier

I can’t believe this was the first time I’ve been here! This was a great little find in downtown St. Catharines. I had the Rib Eye with Pomme Croquettes and it was cooked perfectly. The Tempura fried perch to start was amazing! Service was excellent and staff were so friendly! I will definitely be back to try some other dishes!

Six of us had a great celebration dinner last Friday. Andrew and his staff provided great food and a nice lad back atmosphere. We have never been disappointed dinning at Bolete!
